Who We Are

FarmStead

is a proposed solar-powered greenhouse hydroponics farm, to be set up within the Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area, in the western part of Lagos state, Nigeria

Our facility will cultivate high-quality vegetables locally to make these products affordable and readily available to local food traders. A variety of Vegetables will be grown in laarge quantities using hydroponic vertical farming methods, and precision farming techniques as enabled by digital sensors, to ensure the rapid growth of quality produce.

What Problem are we solving?

Local food traders in Ojo and Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Areas of Lagos state have to undergo stressful and risky travels that last for at least 7 hours to buy vegetables in bulk and sell them locally.

Considering the difficulties faced by these traders to source fresh produce from distant locations, Farmstead is a set up to grow high-quality vegetables in large volumes, locally, making fresh produce readily and available and affordable for local food traders and the community by extension.

• Officially registered interest with BIGFARMS to hire their farm-set-up service.
• Conducted a comprehensive market research across breachhead market
• Developed our Business Model Canvas
• Developed our Business Plan and Pitchdeck
• Developed our online store prototype and tested with "sponsor-users."
• Launched our proof of concept produce.
